24 hours a day, 365 days a year, worldwide to the last corner of the world, UNICEF helpers are in action for children in need. With the support of donors and committed people in Germany, they save small children from starvation, protect girls and boys in crisis areas, are on the scene after natural disasters and ensure that refugee children and children in remote regions can also go to school. How does the help work? Where do the donations arrive? When and where do girls and boys worldwide need our support? We answer these and many other questions with the “Experience UNICEF” app.The highlight of the app are our reports from the UNICEF deployment directly on site. Using a smartphone, UNICEF helpers, supervisors, teachers or even children and adolescents tell themselves about project progress and their everyday lives. They are unfiltered insights into the real life of the children. Find out how UNICEF helps the children and how they can support them. The reading recommendations from the UNICEF blog offer touching stories and a look behind the scenes of the UNICEF work as well as numerous campaigns by volunteers and prominent supporters. Those who are more interested in moving pictures can browse through the best-of selection of our videos from the UNICEF YouTube channel. The project feed provides information about current UNICEF projects, which are supported with donations from Germany, and provides a transparent view of the relief measures for which UNICEF is using the funds on site. There is fast, compact news in the social media section of the app. Current childrens topics, entertaining and offers to participate or share provide variety. In a password-protected area, there are special offers for committed and donors as well as the opportunity to chat with like-minded people via chat.
